Events are messed up which further confuses you. Despite these few problems that I had with the book, It was a good bangkoi nonetheless, well researched and quite informative just…. The story is spine chilling and an accurate description of what many went through in those times. The Book traces the evolution of Maharashtarians into underworld, and how so of them have started their own political parties now.
My take if you don’t mind a biased account of Maharashtrian ganglords which as per author were supposedly encouraged by a single political party, read it.

Getting back to the book, It is fast paced and not that big pages, Kindle edition so, you could comfortably finish it in a few sittings. Violence and deceit one expects to vangkok of, but the strength of this book is also its ability to capture the mundane and almost naive beginnings of what later became organized crime and brutal vendettas which held Mumbai to ransom through the last decades of the twentieth century.
The book is full of such stories of enocounter, vedentta mystries,crptic murders,Chain of revenge,Bloodsheded Love stories and tells us about untold stories of Mumbai’s Mafia.
